Role Description

The Set Builder/ Mock Up Technician must be able to build set & scenery similar to what is used in TV commercials. You will within our Mock-Up department which in charge of supporting our Conceptual Designer’s and Product Engineering teams.

Responsibilities: 

• Must be able to build scenery similar to what is used in TV commercials
• Able to work from basic hand sketches up to detailed architectural drawings
• Cut, fit and glue PVC plumbing fittings
• Willing and able to work at heights that, on occasion, approach 65’ above the ground
• Maintain a clean and well organized work area

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to logically determine a path of action
• Have an understanding of the proper tools for each job
• Willing to work overtime when needed
• Be open minded and willing to learn new ways to do the job
• Must be proficient in the use of woodworking and metal working tools and equipment such as:
• Table Saw, Wood Chop Saw, Routers, Skill Saw, Jig Saw, Power drill, Metal cutting chop saw, Drill Press, and Band Saw
