Position Summary

The Senior Executive, Photo & Videographer is responsible for capturing and producing high-quality visual content that brings Malaysia Aviation Group’s brand and stories to life. Positioned within the Group Branding team, this role exists to translate real moments into compelling visuals, whether on the ground or in the skies. With a strong eye for detail and a hands-on approach to both shooting and basic editing, the role supports end-to-end content creation that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Accountability

  • Capture high-quality video and photo content for brand campaigns, internal communications, social media, and corporate events.
  • Ensure visual assets align with creative direction and brand standards.
  • Work closely with producers, editors, and designers to ensure captured visuals support the overall narrative and campaign objectives.
  • Assist in pre-production activities including shot planning, location scouting, and equipment preparation.
  • Contribute creative input and visual storytelling ideas during team brainstorming and concept development sessions.
  • Perform basic video editing and photo retouching as needed to support timely content delivery.
  • Prepare rough cuts, social media snippets, and visual assets such as thumbnails to complement campaign rollouts.
  • Organise, label, and archive raw and edited footage systematically for ease of access and future use by the team.

Qualification & Working Experience

  • Degree in Mass Communication / Broadcasting / Marketing / Film Production / Multimedia / Visual Arts or related fields
  • 3-5 Years of experience in videography and photography (in-house or freelance)

Areas of Experience

  1. Hands-on experience with various camera equipment such as DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and drones.
  2. Basic editing and retouching skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, or similar tools.
  3. Demonstrated ability to frame shots with intention, capturing mood, emotion, and energy to support narrative goals.
  4. Experience managing shoots independently, including setup, filming, and troubleshooting on-site.
  5. Exposure to working within a creative team environment, especially within brand, marketing, or communications functions.
