Screenwriter (Feature Film, English Language)

Luxar Media is seeking a talented and experienced screenwriter to collaborate on upcoming international film projects. Our productions are crafted exclusively in English, with a focus on cinematic storytelling that combines authenticity, elegance, and global appeal.

This is an opportunity to shape an original feature film from early development through the final draft.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write the full feature-length screenplay in English (from outline to final draft)
• Create and refine treatments and detailed outlines
• Write authentic, engaging dialogue suitable for international audiences
• Work collaboratively with the producer and creative leads to integrate development notes
• Conduct narrative revisions and structural improvements as needed
• Participate in creative meetings, feedback sessions, and script revisions (remote)
• Maintain deadlines and deliver high-quality drafts according to the agreed development timeline

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing drama, comedy, or thriller
• Minimum of one produced and publicly released feature film and/or TV series (festival screenings or broadcast/streaming release required)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling characters, authentic dialogue and emotionally engaging narratives
• Ability to collaborate within a creative team and adapt to feedback
• Professionalism, reliability and passion for filmmaking
