Short Film, May 30-31, Gaffer needed – PAID

UCLA ultra low budget short dramatic film looking for a gaffer, May 30th and 31st. Skeleton crew.
Be experienced and respectful. Age or student-status don’t matter – just have to know what you’re doing and be nice! Experienced grips looking to step-up to a Gaffing title are welcome.

$150 (same day-rate as the DP). Everyone is working below their usual rates in exchange for a fairly nice g&e and camera package.

Low budget doesn’t mean unprofessional: meals provided, lunch at or before the 6 hour mark, 10-12 hour days, safe working space. Experienced Producer, DP, and AD.

Doc-style narrative. 2 locations in Santa Monica.

Dates are tentatively May 30th and 31st. Set will be disinfected and as safe and germ-spread-free as possible. Nobody is a pandemic denier. We want everyone to feel comfortable as well as empathetic and courteous to others. If you can’t provide your own mask or gloves let us know and we’ll provide.
