Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is a leader in live entertainment experiences. Role Summary
Specific Functions/Activities Summary
• Supports the Production Department and acts as logistical hub of information to other internal Departments
• Evaluate processes and workflows within the Department; suggest efficiencies and implementation strategies to Producers
• Work closely with Producers on resourcing logistics for the Department
• Schedule team, project and client meetings
• Act as notetaker at meetings, distribute notes to applicable parties
• Recognize the needs of the Producer on specific projects and proactively address them
• Act as communication liaison for all parties relevant to your work (internal and external)
• Record Department needs and track updates in Producer tool
• Facilitate timely information flows between Production Departments and other Departments
• Liase closely with larger MSG Production Department
• Understand interdepartmental needs and help coordinate efficiencies and fixes
Qualifications
• 1-3 years experience preferably in a similar production environment
• Ability to work on a team
• Proficiency with the following: Outlook, Office Suite
• Working knowledge of Shotgun
• Tireless attention to detail and follow through
• Have a basic understanding of the following: production budgeting/accounting, scheduling, workflow for events and installs
• Motivated to learn
• Ability to work autonomously while having a clear sense of when to seek counsel from Producer
• Developing ability to interact with Clients (with support of Producer)
• A sense of urgency balanced with the ability to prioritize and remain calm
• Behavior consistent with MSG values
