About the Series: “The Corps” is an engaging series set in 1990, following the story of Cameron Cope, a bullied and gay high school student who makes a daring decision to join the Marine Corps alongside his straight best friend, Ray McCaffey. The show delves into the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in the military at a time when being gay could lead to severe consequences. As Cameron and Ray embark on their journey through Marine Corps boot camp, they find themselves amidst both physical and emotional obstacles, surrounded by a platoon of young men on a transformative and life-changing adventure.

Job Title: Production Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the production team with various tasks related to the series’ production.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Director (1AD) and Production Manager (PM) to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
• Provide general on-set support, including setting up equipment, distributing scripts, and coordinating talent and crew needs.
• Assist with talent and location releases as needed.
• Manage communication between departments to facilitate a seamless workflow.
• Help maintain a safe and organized set environment.
• Handle administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the production team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Production Assistant is preferred, but not mandatory.
• A passion for the entertainment industry and a keen interest in television production.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work long and flexible hours during the production phase.
• Familiarity with WGA/SAG-AFTRA regulations is a plus.
