You are a self-starter with stellar communication skills, a positive attitude, and highly organized. You will be able to perform well under pressure in live news environment. You are eager to advance within the company and you are a quick learner.Schedule varies depending on news; candidate must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDistribute incoming day-of-air graphic orders to graphic artistsCommunicate with producers and artists to ensure daily requests are fulfilledAssist graphics production team in finding elements for graphics and animationMaintain library of graphic elementsDevelop an extensive knowledge of graphics workflow and style rulesEnsure producers and artists adhere to style guidelinesWHAT YOU WILL NEEDBachelor’s degree in broadcasting, journalism, or communications preferred, or equivalent experienceKnowledge of Photoshop, iNews and Vizrt is a plusStrong leadership and organizational skillsExperience with multi-tasking several projectsExcellent editorial judgmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
