Print Production Assistant

Pay: $19/hr – Negotiable based on skill level and/or related experience

Job Overview

Trimming, finishing and producing large format media signs including banners, paper signs, window film and cut vinyl production. Application of vinyl graphics and digital prints to various substrates. A detailed job description is available upon request.

Requirements

• Previous sign shop equipment experience, including operation of plotters, large format latex and inkjet printers, and laminators, as well as maintenance of the equipment.
• Ability to repetitively bend and twist.
• Ability to load large format media with a weight up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
• Experience with graphics software, including CorelDRAW, preferred, but not required. Will train the right candidate.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to modify existing templates to reflect current pricing and layout.
• Ability to proof and print files.
• Exceed customer expectations through attention to detail, precision in cutting and finishing, and accurate completion of signs and banners.
• Ability to apply vinyl graphics and digital prints to various substrates.
• Collect production waste for disposal.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
• Ability to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
