Your New Role:
The post production supervisor – reporting to a Sr. post production manager – Supervise audio and video editors, considering the following aspects:

  • Creative process
  • Quality of the delivered material.
  • Comply the scheduled deliveries.
  • Manage the time of use of the post-production rooms, guaranteeing the correct use.
  • Maintain permanent contact with the engineering department, transmitting the requirements and needs related to the equipment.
  • Maintain permanent contact with the client, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Carry a monthly statistics on the use of the postproduction facilitys, considering the number of hours used and available.
  • Quality control, traffic, administration of the postproduction media.
  • Leadership, organized, structured and oriented to customer service.
  • Support all the needs of the Original Production Department.

Your Role Accountabilities:

CREATIVE SKILLS

  • Supervise the creative process of short form multiplatform content for mid and high-profile promotional marketing and/or programming across Warner Bros. Discovery’s portfolio
  • Act as a trusted contributor to the brand partners throughout the entire project lifecycle from ideation to final delivery and manage brand partners’ expectations accordingly
  • Collaborate with Sound Design, Design, and other post production entities and artists

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Have the technical knowledge to Supervises post production activities like audio, Video, Graphic customization and color correction.
  • Ensures appropriate formatting of edited content
  • Ensures accurate and timely delivery of edited content to relevant parties.
  • Maintaining the integrity of each project, monitoring and maintaining appropriate technical criteria, ensuring it meets established quality standards.
  • Keep abreast of all information pertaining to new technical equipment, systems innovations and equipment updates

SOFT SKILLS

  • Leadership capacity for creative and operational teams
  • Collaborate effectively, embrace innovative ideas and workflows, and bring creative ideas to the table
  • Ability to follow several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly adapt and pivot based on project deadlines and brand partners’ requests 
  • Anticipate the brand partners’ needs based on previous knowledge of the WBD brands, projects, and requests
  • Ability to contribute valuable information towards project workflow development
  • Adhere to site-specific operational workflows and protocols
  • Assist in the development of the edit assists and associate editors by providing feedback, guidance, and mentorship

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience editing or supervising post-production teams
  • Experience working with promotional marketing content, Bts content and digital content
  • Medium knowledge of editing/graphics/color correction applications including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Avid, and third-party plugins
  • Ability and flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
  • Intermediate level in Portuguese and English
  • Technical degree in related field

Not Required but preferred experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film or Television with a focus in post production and/or video editing
