Paid Sound Designer/Mixer

Brave New Films, a social justice non-profit media organization, is seeking a versatile freelance sound designer/mixer for an upcoming short documentary on the criminal justice system. The 35-40 minute film will explore the post-slavery origins of the misdemeanor system and how that influences law enforcement today. We hope for the sound to become an immersive landscape that helps transport the audience through different time periods. We are currently in editorial and looking to get someone on board from early July (part time) to help shape the sound as we progress. Also, music supervision support is an added plus, as the music and sound design will go hand in hand. Final sound mix will be in August 2020. Rate is $5000 flat for whole project.
