Paid DoP Position for Feature in Toronto

Candy Eater Films is seeking a Director of Photography for a microbudget feature film, currently entitled “Sweetblood”. The film is to be the feature debut of Pascal Trottier, writer of the Sundance hit, “Hellions”.

In a nut shell, “Sweetblood” is a grounded take on the vampire genre so think “Only Lovers Left Alive” and “Let the Right One In”. Here is a “Concept Trailer” to give you a sense of the tone of the project: https://youtu.be/OaWDSrr-PC0.

We are based in Toronto so ideally you should be “in the area” for any production meetings and etc.

As this is a microbudget feature, we can only pay a small token honorarium of $1000. We are mainly looking for someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience but is craving to make the leap to feature filmmaking. As such, students and recent graduates are welcome to apply!
