NOT TUBBY – Lead Actress

We are looking for a lead actor and actress for a 10-minute pilot for a StoryHive funded web series called “Not Tubby”. If we are chosen as the best pilot, this role extends to 6 episodes with guaranteed payment. PROJECT SYNOPSIS
A couple, Rowan and Hannah, lose their beloved cat, Tubby. When a stranger returns a cat, Rowan is adamant it isn’t the same cat but Hannah disagrees. This disagreement spirals and begins to tear their relationship apart.

Hannah is a loving, driven person working as a copywriter at an advertising agency in downtown Vancouver. She’s willing to fight for the things she cares about—the environment, fair access to housing, and Rowan. She values a feeling of stability, and her dry sense of humour can sometimes mask brutal truths. While Hannah is an empathetic person, her social, environmental, and career concerns cause her to overlook the struggles of the people closest to her. Comedic experience greatly appreciated. Must have believable chemistry with Rowan.
