New York Extras Casting Call for HBO Series

The HBO spin-off of “Sex and the City,” titled “And Just Like That,” is currently casting extras in the New York City area.

The show reunites the original cast after nearly 20 years. In the first series, the friends were in their 30s, navigating life in the city. Now, in the sequel, they return as women in their 50s, adjusting to the complexities of life at this new stage.

“And Just Like That” premiered on HBO Max (now Max) in 2021 and has been renewed for a second season, which is currently filming in New York City.

About the show:
The storyline follows Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte—played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis—as they transition from their friendships in their 30s to the more nuanced realities of life and relationships in their 50s. Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha, has moved to London, as Cattrall opted not to reprise her role. Familiar faces like Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, and Evan Handler also return. The late Willie Garson, who passed away on September 21, 2021, appears in his final role as Stanford Blatch.
