Job Date: November 30, 2019
Compensation: $500
Union Status: Non-Union

This will be a live, multi cam concert shoot for a heavy rock/metal band in western MA on Saturday, November 30 2019. The camerapeople will be required to be either in the press pit, onstage, or within the crowd in the mosh pit.

Familiarity with metal shows is a plus, as these type of shows are more rough-and-tumble than most. This will NOT be documentary style – no dollies, no camerapeople sitting monitoring cameras carefully while someone else is pulling focus. We will be going handheld onstage or in the pit, using relatively small auto focus camcorders, due to the frenetic nature of the material. There will be no live feed, no line cut, no monitoring of your frame or contact/real time direction from the director throughout the concert. We will explain the style of framing we would like to see before the concert starts, and then send the camera people out into the world.

If you have any relevant experience with these types of shoots, please include specific links to those examples. People that have captured this type of content before will be at the top of the list for consideration. The rate will be $500 for a 10-hour day starting at 4pm.
