Music Composer

This role is ideal for a creative music composer with a passion for electronic music and a flair for unique, emotionally resonant instrumentals. The project centers on crafting original electronic tracks inspired by the style of Japanese vocaloid artist Kikuo, with a focus on instrumental arrangements. The compositions will serve as a foundation for personal lyric writing, allowing for deep personal expression. This is a single-project opportunity with the possibility of future collaborations based on project success. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility in work location and schedule.

Deliverables

• Compose original electronic instrumental tracks inspired by Kikuo’s style, emphasizing unique melodies and atmospheric arrangements.
• Deliver high-quality audio files suitable for lyric integration and further production.
• Collaborate closely to ensure the music aligns with the emotional tone and creative vision of the project.
• Provide project files and stems for future editing or adaptation.
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines and maintain clear communication throughout the project.

Requirements

• Proven experience composing electronic music, with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and creativity.
• Deep understanding of electronic music production, arrangement, and sound design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Ableton Live, FL Studio, or Logic Pro.
• Ability to emulate the instrumental style of Japanese vocaloid artists, particularly Kikuo.
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on remote projects.
• Availability to start promptly and deliver within the project timeline.
