Motion graphics artist for VFX

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Motion Graphics Artist to create cinematic design elements and animated graphics for film, episodic, and commercial projects. This role blends design sensibilities with technical execution, delivering polished, visually compelling graphics that integrate seamlessly into live-action and CG environments. Key Responsibilities Design and animate motion graphics elements such as screen content, HUDs, title sequences, data visualizations, and environmental graphics. Create style frames, concept designs, and motion tests to establish the look and feel of sequences. Collaborate closely with supervisors, compositors, and editorial teams to integrate motion graphics into final shots. Deliver graphics that support storytelling, world-building, and visual continuity. Manage multiple projects while ensuring assets are optimized for pipeline use and rendering. Stay up to date with industry trends in design, typography, and animation. Qualifications & Skills Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating motion graphics design and animation for film, broadcast, or high-end commercial projects. Proficiency in design and animation software such as: After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini Photoshop, Illustrator for design work Familiarity with Nuke or other compositing tools for integration Solid understanding of typography, color, and composition for cinematic design. Ability to animate with a strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual rhythm. Experience in tracking, compositing, and integrating graphics into plates. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced production environment. Nice to Have Experience with 3D motion graphics and procedural design in Houdini or Cinema 4D. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for futuristic or narrative-driven interfaces. Familiarity with scripting or expressions to automate motion graphics tasks (After Effects expressions, Python, etc.). Previous credits on feature films, episodic series, or high-end commercials.
