Your New Role…

Working closely with the VP and Executive Director, the Manager oversees the day-to-day timelines and deliveries of all AV materials. This person is also a point of contact for the in-house AV Editor and outside agencies, creating an efficient and streamlined process for incoming and outgoing materials.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Works closely with Executive Director and VP, Creative Advertising, and Brand Marketing team on AV creative requests: engages creative vendors and manages the development and creation of online banners, trailers, TV spots, and social media.
  • Communicates and collaborates with both in-house editorial and outside agencies on creative asset requests and deliveries, including messaging, end card creation, timelines, specs, finishing & deliveries.
  • Reads scripts, attends screenings, watches rough cuts, and reviews catalog films, and creates list of key scenes for trailers and spots.
  • Meets with Creative and Brand teams regularly to review creative materials. Presents spots, trailers and other AV assets in meetings.
  • Oversees AV asset finishing for internal and external projects, including reviewing finished materials on and off-site, checks for accurate messaging, picture and audio quality control, aspect ratio, format, safeties, ratings, and legal lines.
  • Coordinates with post house on HDR, SDR and/or HD finishing; including delivery of final feature masters and QC of final assets.
  • Digitizes and imports/exports various assets and deliverables across multiple media and archive platforms including AdStream, Box, Aspera, FrameIOand other systems as required.
  • Communicates with media company on specs and final delivery of assets.
  • Manages schedule and delivery deadlines with internal and external teams. Tracks creative and finished AV campaign assets.
  • Interfaces with various members of creative, brand and legal teams to confirm final assets, music & talent clearance and other related approvals. Sends out materials for 3rd party, partner and MPA approvals.
  • Works in Monday to manage timelines for AV & graphics projects. Plans and tracks deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of creative materials.

Qualifications & Experience…

Work Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of AV workflow relating to editorial and motion graphics for theatrical and/or home entertainment marketing which includes; trailers, sizzle reels, AV spots and social media assets.
  • AV managing experience including Creative, Production, Post Production and Finishing.
  • Deep knowledge of AV finishing, video formats, delivery requirements, and asset retrieval, approval, and delivery platforms such as AdStream, MediaQurator, Box, NEST, Aspera and others as required.
  • Strong interest and understanding of new and emerging technology such as AR, VR, NFT, AI and how these integrate into video advertising. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • 5 or more years AV Creative Coordinator/Associate Producer background with an entertainment company, AV Agency, or Production Company.
  • Knowledge of standard editorial platforms including Adobe Premier. Including deep knowledge of finishing formats and graphics.

5 years of Entertainment Industry experience preferred.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

College graduate with 4-year Radio/TV/Film, Broadcast Journalism, Film Producing/Editing or other related creative degree, or equivalent agency experience in a creative role.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of AV finishing process, sound design/mixing, and motion graphics
  • Experience working in a creative environment with the ability to synthesize marketing strategy for creative assets, and give creative notes to internal and external teams.
  • Strong, confident and clear communication to internal and outside organizations, and when presenting materials in meetings.
  • Able to give effective feedback and prioritize workload.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Computer skills: Mac. Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite — Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Sound Design software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel & Teams, Monday.com & FrameIO.
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms.

  • Must have ability to work effectively at home (if necessary) with limited supervision, and manage various remote technical requirements for offsite work.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
  • Must have strong writing and correspondence skills and ability to coordinate and collaborate tactfully with other departments.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work well under time constraints.
  • Must be able to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Must be able to dedicate time needed to manage heavy workload including work outside of standard business hours, and weekends
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have strong work ethic with positive can-do attitude, not afraid of new challenges, working late, tight timelines or curve balls.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,090.00 – $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
