Producer/Line Producer for Low-Budget Non-Union Indie Feature in Toronto.
Paid, TBNegotiated with viable candidates.
You’ll be taking over the producer role from someone who was acting/producing and now wants to focus on acting, but will be staying on to guide/assist the production process.
Looking for someone with the passion and drive to do what needs to be done to make this film happen.
Duties will include working with budgets/some line producing, working with cast and crew/some team management, and some work with executive producers to bring in money and talent and help with some budgeting as well.
The role is expected to change, shift, and grow as the production progresses, so experience is important but willingness to learn and grow and do things the right way is their first priority. Again, guidance will be provided.
The film deals with an edgy modern look at racial tensions, so it is also helpful to have experience working with similar themes, or at least to be able to work with sensitivity and respect towards the issues being dealt with.
