Lead Videographer
Little Pig Consulting
We’re Little Pig Consulting — a marketing agency that likes to do things a little differently. We believe in lifting up our local community, capturing stories people care about, and having a bit of fun along the way. If you’re passionate about visual storytelling and want to join a team that’s equal parts serious about results and serious about good coffee, keep reading.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative, skilled Lead Videographer who can step in, grab the camera (or drone), and help us bring client stories to life. Your mission: produce high-quality video content that engages, entertains and educates across digital, social and campaign channels.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead end-to-end video production: concept, shoot, edit, deliver.
-
Work collaboratively with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling storyboards and scripts.
-
Manage the technical gear: cameras, lighting, audio, drones, gimbals.
-
Drone pilot certification is preferred but flexible based on experience and willingness to obtain certification.
-
Stay on top of trends and platform best practices (Reels, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
-
Mentor junior video/content creators.
-
Occasionally jump behind the microphone or hold the boom — we like versatility.
-
Maintain high standards of delivery: on time, on budget, and on point.
What We’re Looking For
-
Proven experience (5+ years) in videography and editing — you’ve got a strong showreel.
-
Marketing or advertising industry experience is essential for this role.
-
A minimum of 3-4 years of marketing or advertising industry experience is required.
-
Excellent command of editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve) and camera systems.
-
Strong storytelling instincts: you know how to capture emotion, pace and movement.
-
Comfortable working in a dynamic agency environment: multiple clients, changing briefs.
-
Exceptional organisation skills: deadlines matter.
-
A “ready to roll” mindset and willingness to get sticky with cables or climb ladders when needed.
-
A sense of humour and a willingness to embrace our little quirky side (bonus if you have that “don’t take yourself too seriously, but take the work seriously” attitude).
-
A certificate or diploma qualification is required for this position.
What We Offer
-
A competitive salary plus Superannuation.
-
Flexible working arrangements (we trust you to deliver).
-
A collaborative, friendly team environment based in Toowoomba and happy to explore on-location shoots in regional Queensland.
-
Professional development and access to the latest kit and software.
-
The chance to work on stories with real impact, not just the standard corporate fare.
