Lead Video Editor – Full Time – Los Angeles

Current Campaigns: Original Content, Publisher Content, UN Women Spotlight Campaign, 2020 US Election, More TBD!

Job Function:

Lead in editing original content and campaign videos and co-creating a signature style for SGC content.

Edit a wide range of original content including talking heads, travel videos and episodic content as well as creating videos from stock-footage.

Work within the defined brand + process, as it comes up, including internal feedback and client feedback and revisions

Manage multiple edits at once and delegate tasks to post-production interns.

Manage basic animations on video content and develop a catalogue of repeatable transitions and animations features to be used across formats

Qualifications

Passion for social change

Ability to edit quickly and efficiently using Premiere Pro.

Proficiency in other CC suite produce including After Effects, Photoshop, etc. a plus

Significant experience editing video content (please send portfolio/showreel!)

Ability to work in the USA.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to build a strong story and create a unique, consistent style of content.
