Junior Video Editor

GMEDIA is looking for a full-time video editor to join our growing team in Brisbane. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who knows how to work through edits quickly, spot details others miss, and consistently deliver clean, sharp content across real estate, construction, branding, and social media.

You’ll be working closely with our team to take raw footage and turn it into polished edits that match our pace and style. Our turnaround times are fast, and we rely on editors who can work efficiently without sacrificing quality. If you’ve got a solid handle on timing, transitions, and pacing and you enjoy editing – you’ll fit right in.

This isn’t a one-off project or freelance gig. It’s a full-time spot in the core team, contributing to a high volume of work each week. You don’t need to be overly creative or reinvent every cut – you need to be consistent, reliable, and clear with communication.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Editing a range of content – property videos, brand videos, construction videos, commercial content, reels, and social

• Using shot lists, structure, and pacing to hit the brief

• Syncing footage with music and building a clean visual rhythm

• Taking feedback and applying it fast

• Managing your own workflow

What We’re Looking For

• Confident in DaVinci Resolve (or willing to learn it fast..its an easy switch)

• Strong sense of pacing, transitions, and structure

• Good colour and sound instincts

• Can manage multiple projects at once and stick to deadlines

• Clear, direct communication

• A reel or portfolio that shows your editing skills across different content types

• Full working rights in Australia (role is in-person in Brisbane)
