ASTING HOST (PROJECT BEER)
NEW COOKING COMPETITION WEB SERIES – Pays $1500 per episode +
.
CRITERIA:
– Must reside in the Toronto, Canada, area
– Age 25 + years old (TALENT MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD BECAUSE IT IS SPONSORED BY AN ALCOHOL BRAND. AGE WILL BE VERIFIED DURING SELECTION PROCESS, SO PLEASE BE 25+ IF APPLYING.)
– Non-Union
.
The host is expected to be the consistent face of the series, responsible for integrating the key brand messaging into the organic story of each episode. Like Survivor’s Jeff Probst or Drag Race’s RuPaul, the host will infuse the series with a unique combination of comedy, heart and charm while stirring the competitive pot.
.
Ideally the host would have previous experience on camera and/or has built up a following as a social media influencer. We are very open however to emerging talent who clearly have hosting chops but need a platform to prove it. Confidence performing for a crowd is also key so standup comedy / public speaking experience is an asset but not necessary.
.
COMPENSATION: $1500 per episode (includes prep and 1 day shoot) x 8 episodes. This will include a 5 year usage agreement worldwide and shooting and promotional material on the same shoot dates. Rate also includes one rehearsal day and a wardrobe call. Client can extend usage at a rate of $500 a year after the 5 years.
.
***This is a Branded web series for a major beer brand. All applicants MUST be 25 years or over.***
.
LGBTQ and BIPOC candidates are heavily encouraged to apply.
.
WHAT’S THE SHOW ABOUT? The tone of the series combines the cinematic flair of “Chef’s Table” mixed with the competitive excitement of “MasterChef” and the comedic absurdity of “Nailed It”. Episodes are ten-minutes in length and filmed throughout August in Toronto restaurants. The series will air across all social media channels throughout September and October. Eight episodes total.
