Our publication, Awesome Earthmovers Magazine, is rapidly growing worldwide, with a substantial social media following across all platforms. We work closely with our customers on video production and content creation, enhancing their presence on both our publication and their social channels.

Job Description:

As a full-time Video Editor, you will work remotely from Northern Ireland, creating engaging, high-quality short-format videos showcasing heavy equipment. Your responsibilities will include editing footage from various sources, including DJI drones, Sony DSLRs, and GoPro cameras into engaging short format video, you’ll optimize videos for each social media platform, produce captivating thumbnails, lower thirds, and animated text, and occasionally travel internationally to cover events or attend local office-based meetings on requirement.

Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro X
• Experience with Adobe After Effects
• Familiarity with the Sony A7 range of cameras
• Ability to produce animated graphics when required
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and video optimization
• Capability to create cinematic videos and perform advanced colour grading from Log profiles

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills
• Be efficient in working to tight deadlines
• Ideally based in Northern Ireland
• Be willing to travel from time to time
• Be willing to work occasional weekends to meet deadlines

Hours & Compensation:

• Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (40 hrs weekly)
• Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
• All necessary equipment and editing software provided
• Trial period of 3 months, leading to a full-time position upon successful completion

Salary: £17,090.68-£32,416.56 per year
