We are seeking a dedicated and organized Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by ensuring smooth operations, coordinating various tasks, and assisting the production team in executing high-quality projects. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills will contribute to the overall success of our productions.
Responsibilities:
Assist the production team with pre-production, production, and post-production tasks as needed.
Coordinate and manage logistics, including scheduling, transportation, and equipment setup.
Set up and maintain production equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
Support the crew during shoots by arranging props, managing talent, and maintaining a tidy set.
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining call sheets, shot lists, and other production documents.
Assist with organizing and managing the production schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Collaborate with various departments, including lighting, sound, and camera, to facilitate a seamless workflow.
Aid in coordinating post-production activities, including media organization and editing support.
Manage and organize digital assets, files, and footage in accordance with established protocols.
Assist in location scouting and securing necessary permits for shoots.
Help troubleshoot any on-set or production-related issues that may arise.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Uphold safety standards on set and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in film, media, or related field is a plus.
Prior experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with film and television production processes, equipment, and terminology.
Proficiency in using production software and tools, such as call sheet generators and project management apps.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and production needs.
Physical capability to lift and move production equipment when necessary.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
A positive attitude, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn.
