WE’RE HIRING A FREELANCE VIDEOGRAPHER / EDITOR!

— On-Site Only – Orem, Utah USA — Part-time 3 days/week —

Job Summary:

Pillow Cube is looking for a creative and skilled In-House Part-Time Contractor Videographer and Editor to join our brand team 3 days a week. This role offers the creative freedom to produce compelling, fun, instructive and sometimes downright weird videos that highlight the innovative bedding products of Pillow Cube (the fastest-growing bedding company online). You will work closely with our team to shoot and edit brand videos, contributing directly to our marketing and branding efforts.

(Job is on-site in Orem, Utah South of University Mall. Contract work only.)

Role and Responsibilities:

As our In-House Part-Time Videographer and Editor contractor, you will play a key role in creating high-quality video content that showcases our products and tells our brand story. We are looking for a motivated individual whose work will enhance our marketing initiatives and engage our audience.  Key responsibilities include:

1. Videography:

  • Shoot and edit engaging video content for product launches, promotions, tutorials, and brand storytelling.
  • Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, on-site studio and audio to ensure high production quality.
  • Collaborate with the brand team to develop creative concepts and visual styles for videos.

2. Post Production Editing:

  • Edit raw footage into polished and cohesive videos that align with our brand’s aesthetic and messaging.
  • Add graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance video content.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all video content.

3. Creative Direction:

  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas for visual content that align with brand aesthetics and target audiences.
  • Participate in pre-production meetings to discuss concepts, shot lists, and production schedules.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

  • Help build out a videography studio on-site.
  • Maintain and organize photography and videography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
  • Stay updated with the latest videography trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve output.

Qualifications:

  • 3-15 years of proven experience as a videographer and editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your videography and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in using professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and lighting techniques.
  • Knowledge of current trends in videography and editing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for producing high-quality video content.
