A TV Production company is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Camera Operator to join a dynamic team of TV operatives. You’ll be instrumental in capturing high-quality footage for a diverse range of TV production projects (from TV series, promotional and corporate videos and film documentaries).
What you will be working on? – Responsibilities
- Operate various camera equipment, including DSLRs, cinema camera and handheld rigs.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and other crew members to achieve the desired visual style.
- Set up and maintain camera equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and image quality.
- Execute smooth camera movements, using tripods, dollies, sliders and other tools.
- Capture clear and engaging footage in a variety of lighting conditions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a camera operator (freelance or agency experience welcome)
- Strong understanding of amera operation principles, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance
- Experience working with different camera formats and codecs
- Ability to follow shot lists and instructions while adapting to changing situations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
