Freelance Camera Operator / DP

Ghost Atomic is a boutique production company and creative agency, based in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in branded content and music videos. We are currently looking for talented and hard-working camera operators for corporate projects such as case studies and customer evidence stories. Candidates must have solid experience with documentary-style shooting and production, be able to capture interviews, b-roll and staged scenes creatively and quickly, and be able to work nimbly with a small, dedicated team. May also be required to work solo, serving as DP and camera operator. Expertise with cameras including RED, Alexa, FX3 and A7s a must. Extensive travel in the US and abroad is an essential part of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work with director and/or director of photography to determine all aspects of shots

· Provide practical and creative input into scene set-up and filming

· Transport, assemble and position production gear, including lighting, cameras, mics, etc.

· Test cameras and media cards

· Set up video feeds, via Microsoft Teams, for remote reviews by producers and clients

· Shoot scenes according to agreed-upon plans

· Resolve technical issues as needed

· Transfer video assets from media cards to other storage devices as directed

Pay: $750.00 – $1,250.00 per day
