Your Role

This position reports to the Executive Director of Studio Services and Manager Facilities Maintenance and works closely with various departments including Safety, Fire, Construction and Utility Services to ensure protocols are followed for projects and partners with Studio Operations department managers on client needs, ensuring building, stage and backlot maintenance requests and projects are completed within budget and timeline.

Role Accountabilities

  • Working autonomously at times, this position may serve as the initial point of contact with vendors for Studio Services projects and may be coordinating and leading on site walkthroughs with trades for job creation.  This position will be working with the utility and construction teams on project management, maps and interfacing with vendors.
  • Coordinates with Studio Operations, Utilities and Facilities Maintenance Construction groups to perform Stage inspections and coordinates schedules for repair work in-between productions at both Main Lot & Ranch
  • Reviews work requests at both Main Lot & Ranch facilities to determine the level of staffing is needed so that work can be completed.  Conducts meetings and follows up on status of project timelines and communicates across the studio to facilitate and coordinate access for work to be completed.
  • Performs Job walks throughout the studio main lot facility to identify needed work, and review status of current work, meets with department heads at job sites on lot for updates on projects, whether landscaping, paint, roofing, construction and/or environmental.

Experience & Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in a studio or campus environment working with multiple constituents preferred
  • Technical equipment experience required: PC, Excel 40%, Word 10%, Cell Phone, Plotter
  • Software Experience Preferred: Planon 40% and Xytech 10%
  • Excellent ability to communicate (verbal and written), confident and poised while discussing issues with quick problem-solving skills and ability to build consensus while in meetings or otherwise.
  • Ability to be on-call nights/weekends in case of emergency response and/or production support needs
  • Ability to read floorplans and maps
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to track multiple projects
  • Familiarity with Construction processes including defining scope, evaluating estimations, work scheduling, etc.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $38,511.00 – $71,521.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
