Job Description

Seeking for an energetic Cinematographer. This role will work in collaboration with internal teams (videographers, photographers, creative, etc.). We are, however, open to submissions from distant places, for consideration.

Cinematographer

Work with director of communications to build and maintain an editorial calendar of long-range and short-range multimedia projects.
Execute digital video productions on a wide variety of topics consistent with organizational objectives including: educational, promotional, events, member stories, fundraising, special announcements, etc.
Develop video concepts, capture footage and edit for finished product.
Maintain video equipment.
Transcribe and maintain transcription database of all video interviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly with creative/art directors and stylists on the development of photo and video shoots
Make creative recommendations based on shoot direction and budget parameters
Work with appropriate partners on both photography and video to ensure seamless communication and logistics
Produce the actual on set production with freelance production support
Manage the team of photographers, videographers, image specialists, and freelance to ensure a consistent voice across all brand channels
Determine the support needed for the shoots and ensure coverage when needed
Conduct photography and video talent portfolios reviews
Lead and organize regular meetings with teams to assess current processes to refine improving the operational efficiencies and support business growth
Collaborate with business partners to evolve the organizational messaging through our print marketing and videography to meet the needs of the business.
Working knowledge of the studio and equipment for photography and video.
Make recommendations as needed for new equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience using DSLR and ENG style cameras (Sony FS7,
A7SII, PXW-X400, Z150, etc.)
Proficient experience using Avid Media Composer
2+ years’ experience using Adobe Creative Suite products, including
Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition
Deep knowledge of lighting, composition, and cinematography
Experienced in documentary and news production techniques
Strong understanding of production audio
Experienced in both studio and field production

Excellent communication skills and follow-through
The ability to re-prioritize quickly due to shifting deadlines
Must be self-motivating and able to work independently
Must have excellent communication and time management skills
Experience using Tricaster or live switchers is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $1,550.00 to $1,600.00 /week
