Chicago Open Auditions for Indie Horror Film

This is an open casting for the female lead in a short horror film shot in the Chicago area entitled ‘ASMR’. Please read the full description before responding.

ASMR tells the story of Salem Curtis, who’s just gone through an abrupt and pitiless breakup with her boyfriend who lives upstairs from her. Suffering through a sleepless night she turns on an ASMR that includes positive messages, empowering messages, that exhort her to enact her wishes. She awakens the next day to find her clothes and a bloody knife in her bathroom, and her ex-boyfriend stabbed to death in his apartment, and she fears she may have committed the act.

‘Salem’ is a woman in her mid 20’s, relaxed and comfortable in her relationship. Her breakup leaves her devastated. She is a woman full of energy, playful, struggling with confidence. The role does require scenes of nudity. You also have several changes of clothes.

Living Room Films is responsible for the production. We shoot short horror films that we market on VOD. In respect for the Covid-19 crisis there will be only the bare minimum of crew. Your scenes will be shot separately from the other actors in the piece.TBD
