Chicago Area Casting Call for Feature Film

Project and Roles Information:
This project turns the traditional (read: cheesy) horror film on its head. Jen is the would be victim and someone who is never named (but credited as The Killer) tries to play out the usual horror movie routine but doesn’t have much success. Jen seems to out think the Killer at every turn (??). The project takes place in and around an apartment complex.

The production will also be conducted in such a way as to not create unnecessary risks due to COVID. Because of this, we might need to be creative and flexible on when we shoot.

Role of The Killer: The (unnamed) Killer starts as quite confident and mildly arrogant but quickly is humbled by his would be victim. 20 to 40 years old, all ethnicities male. We proudly consider talent of all ethnicities. Due to the subject matter all talent must be 18+. The role is envisioned as “about 30 years old” but there is considerable flexibility there. No specific requirements on body type, but talent will need to be able to complete physical nature of role.

Role of Jen: Jen carries the project as the main protagonist, outsmarting the (unnamed) Killer at every turn. But….. how does she do it!? 23 to 38 years old, all ethnicities female. We proudly consider talent of all ethnicities. Due to the subject matter, all talent must be 18+. The role is envisioned as “about 30 years old” but there is considerable flexibility there. No specific requirements on body type, but talent will need to be able to complete physical nature of role. If you like horror films, that isn’t required, but is a plus – let us know! Note this role requires a brief nude scene. At the beginning of the film while it still appears to be another cheesy slasher film, true to form there is a short shower scene. Talent will be required to show bare butt before getting into the shower. From there, the perspective is shot from directly overhead with water running so no additional nudity is specifically called for but it is possible a fleeting shot of breasts is possible. All industry standards will be followed, including a closed set. Also, you may bring an escort with you for the filming of this scene if you wish.
