Rate: Honorarium will be provided for the roles.

Transportation, meals, and lodging are covered.

DIANA – LEAD ROLE – FEMALE – 14-18 YRS OLD

Diana lives with her mother at the edge of the Maidenswood. She is a quiet but strong willed girl, who feels most at peace in her garden. She struggles to adjust to her abusive father being back in her life, and little by little, his abuse darkens her world. This actor will be paid with a $250 honorarium for 3 days of shooting.

MOTHER – LEAD ROLE – FEMALE – 35-45 YRS OLD

Diana’s mother. A bright woman, who, like many abuse victims, has been taught to accept men’s violence as a fact of life. An outsider here, she doesn’t believe in the old ghost stories surrounding the Maidenswood, but nonetheless worries when her daughter begins to speak of girls in the woods. This actor will be paid with a $200 honorarium for 3 days of shooting.

FATHER – LEAD ROLE – MALE – 35-45 YRS OLD

Diana’s father, who has regularly drifted in and out of her life. He feels no sense of responsibility towards his wife and daughter, and has a violent streak. This actor will be paid with a $150 honorarium for 3 days of shooting.

GIRL IN THE WOODS – SUPPORTING ROLE – FEMALE – 15-23 YRS OLD

A mysterious girl who appears in Diana’s dreams. This actor will be paid with a $150 honorarium for 3 days of shooting.
