Freeman Casting Co. is a team of casting professionals who provide background performers to the BC film industry.

Freeman Casting Co is currently looking for background Casting Assistants.

We work in a team atmosphere, and are looking to expand. We have one full- time position available. The candidates will work closely with the casting directors and film productions. It is a challenging and exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast paced- environment. Our objective is to add you to our team!

Job Requirements:

• Excellent typing abilities, proof reading and English skills
• Extensive knowledge working with Microsoft word, Excel and Power point
• Ability to multi- task, prioritize work and must be organized.
• Social Media Savvy
• Must be able to work independently
• Should be flexible with time, based on film schedules.
• Film production experience is an asset, but not required.
• Creative, positive and outgoing personality a must.
• University education.
• An excellent communicator
• Proficiency with Mac computers
• A self starter who is also team-oriented
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A valid driver’s license and a car will be considered an asset

We are looking to bring on full time background Casting Assistants to facilitate the booking of background performers. The successful candidates will work closely with casting directors and film crew.
