Actors for Web Series – Not Another Superhero

B-South Productions is casting for a Urban Web Series, Not Another Superhero, beginning this month.

This web series is like a Boyz n the Hood (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101507/) meets Hancock (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448157/).

One of the rappers is in denial of his super strength and can only use it when highly emotional.

What’s great about this project is fast pace that we will post to YouTube and other streaming outlets. After filming we will have the videos posted within two weeks. This is a great web series to showcase your talent and add to your reel.

Synopsis:
Not Another Superhero is about a young rapper who is in denial of his super strength. He only has one ambition to succeed as a rapper, but must come to terms with how his super powers can save more people than himself.

Character BIOS
[BLAINE] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 18-24]
Blaine is a young rapper who barely finished high school. Not because he didn’t have the smarts, but he just never attended. He is under pressure from his mother to move out and get a job. He is trying to prove himself to her and his peers that he can be the next greatest rapper.

[BOBBIE] [GENDER: MALE/FEMALE] [AGE: 18-24]
Bobbie is Blaine’s best friend. They both are rappers, but Blaine is better. Bobbie is quite smart, good with numbers and knows what too much about the law for someone who is a novice. Bobbie is taking a coding bootcamp as a backup if rap doesn’t work out.

[MARK] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20-26]
Mark is Blaine’s nemesis. He severely dislikes Blaine for really no reason. Everywhere Blaine participates to battle rap Mark is there to contest him. Mark has a little baby girl who me tries to give great care.

[CASEY] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 35-40]
Casey is Blaine’s mother. She is funny, but firm. She is a believer of education first and wants Blaine to make his rapping a hobby. She is trying to finish her degree in accounting and currently does the books for a mechanic shop.
