Trilogy Media, a YouTube Channel and media company based in Marina Del Rey, CA is looking for a part-time Assistant Video Editor for YouTube, social media, and premium streaming content. This Assistant Video Editor will work directly with our Creative Director in order to produce and edit content for various social media platforms, maximize exposure, and create marketing materials. We’re looking for applicants with a passion for editing, graphic design, and a strong knowledge of social media.

Core Responsibilities

• Editing a wide range of content, from longer form YouTube videos, true crime documentaries, to shorter form Facebook, TikTok and Instagram videos across the board.
• Creating video thumbnails and various other marketing visuals for maximum exposure across all platforms.
• Work under direction of the Executive Producers to properly tackle new edits, graphics and strategic plans for future content.
• Analyze and adapt to social media data, YouTube analytics, and viewer behavior to increase SEO.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a content creator
• Strong knowledge of Final Cut Pro X and Adobe After Effects
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and work without micromanagement.
• Proactiveness and ability to create their own opportunities

The job starts full time at $15-$17/hour, but there is a large possibility for growth and advancement. Prior editing experience is required. Prior experience working in the digital space is a plus. Please attach any editing samples, or social media experience that you have.
