SYNOPSIS: The Parker-Andersons is a family show. Actually, it’s two shows — It’s a family show, The Parker-Andersons, and a tween show, Amelia Parker in one story world. The Parker-Andersons is a modern take on The Brady Bunch. It’s about a widowed man, Tony Parker, and his two kids, Amelia and Nathan, who move from England to the USA, so that Tony can manage the soccer career of his nephew, a superstar striker for US soccer team. Whilst there, Tony marries Cleo Anderson, who has two kids of her own, Victoria and Charlie. Thus the hyphenate — The Parker-Andersons. What follows are the adventures
of two very different sets of siblings and their parents, as they learn to live together, help each other, and be a new family. Amelia Parker is a tween show about Tony’s daughter, Amelia. This show stars Amelia and her friends and family, as she navigates her new life the US. Just as in Modern Family, the show uses to-camera conversations to help us get to know Amelia better. It’s in these confessionals that we learn about the internal machinations of a bright vivacious twelve year-old girl, as she struggles with a new family, a new school, a new country, and being newly tween. So we have two single camera sit-coms. And even though they’re both stand-alone shows that you can watch completely separately, they’re also related.  And they’re related by more than just the characters in the shows. We’ve taken a novel and unique storytelling approach, where the two shows ‘talk’ to each other. It’s never been done before, but each episode of The Parker-Andersons has storylines that we reprise in its companion episode of Amelia Parker, and vice versa. The Parker-Andersons focuses on the family, with stories mostly centered around the four
kids. And Amelia Parker is about Amelia and her relationship with her friends and family. This unique format allows for a co-viewing audience.

CASTING/SEEKING:

VIKRAM SANJIT – SUPPORTING ROLE – MALE – 12 YRS OLD
Vikram Sanjit a tad dramatic, excessively hopeful, and Amelia’s best friend. He is loquacious and happily uses words like ‘loquacious’. He is the perfect vehicle to express Amelia’s point of view. They are so in sync, that Vikram can generally explain Amelia’s position or thoughts to anyone, without Amelia needing to say a word. He feels blessed to have a BFF like Amelia, and is loyal to a fault. If you upset him, he is apt to speed walk out of a situation for dramatic effect. Vikram is also amazed that Amelia is cousin to the very famous, Nick Parker.

DECLAN – SUPPORTING ROLE – MALE – 12 YRS OLD
Declan Heatherington. He is scathing, and honest to a fault. Declan has no capacity to delude himself, and takes pleasure in having everyone else see the world his way. Despite wishing he was Lord Voldemort’s kid, he still craves friendship and finds himself reluctantly hanging out with Amelia and Vikram. He would say it’s because Amelia’s mother, Cleo, owns a dental clinic with his mom. He is a misunderstood 12. year-old who wants desperately to be liked.
