Ana and Adam, a middle-aged couple, are on the run escaping the spread of a poisonous mist that has obliterated most of humanity, and are currently taking shelter in an old abandoned house in the middle of the woods. As the mist starts to close in on their location one more time, Adam wants to continue to run and survive with the hope of a better tomorrow, while Ana wants to stay on to live and enjoy their final days together, since she doesn’t see any future in trying to survive. They both have to come to a decision before their fatal fate reaches them.

She is a thinker, a woman with the soul of a poet. She is the one who starts questioning the reasons why they are running away, and at what cost. She’s also the one who takes the decision of not doing it anymore. She was once very in love with Adam, now it’s so hard for her to speak to him about what has been going on. She wants to live. She understands the situation they’re in, but she wants to go back to the old days. Her focus is on her enjoying life, but also on Adam, and to be happy together. She wants to love, because through love, she knows she’ll live forever.

He has never been a fighter. That’s why he wants to keep running away from the mist, even though he’s not ilving anymore. And that’s why he keeps running away from the relationship as well. He was once very in love with Ana, now he barely even looks at her. He wants to survive. He wants the best for Ana, but he gets so worried about her well-being that he loses focus on her real happiness and their love as a couple. Even though he hasn’t thought about it that thoroughly, deep inside, he knows that if he’s able to find love again, he’ll stop being scared and he’ll live forever.
