Overview
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Actor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bring characters to life, engage audiences, and contribute to various theatrical, film, or television productions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, confidence in public speaking, and a passion for storytelling. Experience in teaching or writing is a plus, as it enhances the ability to interpret scripts and connect with diverse audiences.

Duties

• Perform in theatrical productions, films, commercials, or other entertainment mediums according to scripts and director’s instructions
• Develop and embody characters through physicality, voice modulation, and emotional expression
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and fellow actors to ensure cohesive performances
• Rehearse regularly to perfect timing, delivery, and character development
• Engage with audiences during live performances or promotional events
• Assist in script analysis and character research to deliver authentic portrayals
• Participate in promotional activities such as interviews or workshops when required
• Continuously hone acting skills through training sessions, workshops, or self-study

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey emotions convincingly
• Strong public speaking abilities to engage and captivate audiences during performances or presentations
• Experience in teaching acting techniques or related fields is advantageous
• Writing skills beneficial for script analysis or creating character backstories
• Confidence in performing live or on camera in front of diverse audiences
• Ability to take direction well and adapt quickly during rehearsals and performances
• Passion for storytelling and the performing arts
• Prior experience in acting roles is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and dedication are essential

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
