ROLE SUMMARY:

• Providing support to Agent with an established roster of professional working actors
• Full-cycle commercial roster management: submitting on commercial breakdowns, calling out auditions, coordinating callbacks/holds/bookings and generating invoices
• Recruiting new commercial talent
• Managing onboarding process and providing administrative, technical & developmental support to clients
• Maintaining client databases across various online platforms (Casting Workbook, Breakdown Services, Casting Networks & IMDb)
• Calling out and confirming Film & TV auditions on behalf of Agent
• Assisting with accounting services
• Data management and organization
• Tracking client availability
• Providing professional and timely communication (including evenings & weekends)
• Maintaining Agent’s schedule and setting up meetings (on zoom and in-person)
• Providing holiday coverage to Agent, as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Agent Assistant, Casting Assistant or equivalent
• Must have strong working knowledge of online industry platforms, including Breakdown Services, Casting Workbook, Casting Networks and IMDb
• A flexible schedule to meet the on-call demands of the industry in a timely manner (including weeknights and weekends)
• Superior ability to respond with tact & diplomacy in a fast-paced environment with continuously shifting priorities
• Ability to think critically, problem solve and make decisions independently
• Exceptional organizational & process-management skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proven ability to multitask with ease and minimal supervision
• A team player with a friendly, flexible, positive disposition and a strong work ethic
• An understanding of the needs of the commercial industry and an eye for talent

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:

• The financial flexibility to work within a commission-based industry with variable month-to-month income

• The ability to work from our Vancouver office as well as to work remotely

While this is primarily a commission-based role, additional income considerations will be made based on
qualifications, experience and contributions.
