Full Job Description

Hiring Staff Production Manager for commercial production company’s LA office to work alongside and support Executive Producers. This position will require working on multiple projects at once for both our creative development and production teams. Working across multiple projects at the same time, the PM should be comfortable with their own assignments as well as working with members of other departments of the company. Time management, efficiency and quick turnarounds are key for this position. Would currently be working remotely.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administrative support to Executive Producers
  • Organize and keep all project files up to date
  • Keep track of Roster Director schedules and Weekly Project Status Report
  • Research production costs/needs during bidding process including locations
  • Engage and obtain quotes from 3rd party vendors & service providers
  • Hold, schedule & hire freelance production crews
  • Create Production Schedules
  • Book travel for production teams
  • Oversight of casting process
  • Creative support of research, treatment writing, treatment design & proof reading
  • Schedule calls and meetings for productions and Executive Producers
  • Seeks out, identifies and provides insight on industry trends
  • Act as Coordinator on BODEGA productions as needed

Qualifications:
2+ years production/creative experience at a production company, agency or network

Minimum 1 year in a role for short or long-form productions

Desire to grow in either a production and/or creative capacity

Design skills, creative writer and thinker, organized and motivated

Excellent knowledge of Keynote & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

Working knowledge of file formats and compression standards

Ability to create detailed production schedules

Film set experience preferred but not required

Deadline driven; team player; works well under pressure; can do attitude.
