20th Television Casting department is looking for a rock star Executive Assistant to support assigned Executives in the Casting department. This role works closely with the larger Disney Television Studios Casting team, which includes Hulu, FX, and ABC Signature.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to assigned Executives in the Casting department.
- Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, screening and rolling phone calls, managing schedule, processing expense reports, and ensuring timely and effective communications.
- Generate lists and communicate with casting directors, producers, talent representatives and other executives.
- Manage and update casting grids with staff lists and production calendars.
- Collect information for timely internal memos.
- Be familiar with all internal department points of contact, as well as their external counterparts.
- Take notes on meetings and calls.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year administrative assistant experience in the entertainment industry.
- Superior organizational skills to handle a high volume and fast-paced environment, with attention to details and accuracy.
- Highly motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently with little direction and provide follow up; respond effectively to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to protect confidential information.
- Calm under pressure; strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to present information in a confident, well-articulated, creative and engaging manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with other team members; provide desk coverage, as needed.
- Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Casting interest preferred, agency/management experience a plus.
- Relevant coursework in film/television.
- Passion for learning and eagerness to be a team player.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
