Full Job Description

We are a one of a kind film festival in its inaugural year. We see the world through a director’s lens, bringing the global community together and providing a venue to experience the culture and aspire to wander. We give a voice to the places that make the stories.

As an Operations Support, you will coordinate to setting out the operations timeline and in planning the necessary tasks in advance of the festival, as well as coordinate with the existing volunteers to make the festival a success. You will direct and keep the volunteer efforts as well as follow through on outreach to film makers and distributors to bring in film submissions. You will also be in direct contact with the Executive Director in preparation for our festival.

Duties And Responsibilities

· General administrative duties including meeting planning, planning expense reports, scheduling, phone/mail, and other administrative matters.

· Contacting industry professionals

· Manage the maintenance and updating of social media.

· Ideate ways to creatively market the festival to grow audience.

· Assist with additional projects and other duties as required

· Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Prior Experience Needed

· BA or equivalent work experience.

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.

· Adobe Premiere Pro & Photoshop.

· Editing experience is highly encouraged

· Exceptional interpersonal communication and organization skills, strong attention to detail, strong writing skills, problem – solver, demonstrated ability to interact with Executive Director.

· Must be well-spoken and have great communication both written and verbal.

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Up to $10.00 per hour
