Experteer Overview In this role you will design and build production-ready generative AI workflows for high-end media production, integrating into artist workflows and existing pipelines. You’ll work across product, research, design, and engineering to translate new generative capabilities into practical tools. You will apply VFX domain knowledge to ensure solutions meet real-world creative constraints and scale across teams. A strong emphasis on node-based tooling and Python-driven automation will shape how you empower artists and production pipelines. Compensation / Benefits • Design, build, and iterate on custom generative AI workflows with node-based systems (e.g., ComfyUI) • Prototype and refine artist-facing tools that integrate generative AI into production pipelines • Write high-quality code to extend automation and tooling for AI workflows (scripting, backend services) • Collaborate with research, product, platform, design, and engineering to translate capabilities into usable solutions • Apply VFX domain knowledge to align solutions with real-world workflows and constraints • Incorporate feedback to improve usability, performance, and reliability of tools • Own solutions end-to-end from concept through deployment, docs, and iteration • Contribute to best practices for scalable, flexible generative AI systems Tasks • 7+ years of experience in creative tooling for VFX/animation/high-end media production • Hands-on expertise with node-based AI systems (ComfyUI or equivalent) and ability to customize them • Strong Python programming skills for tools, services, or automation • Understanding of diffusion-based generative models and inference trade-offs • Experience integrating generative AI tools into DCC apps or pipelines (Houdini, Nuke, Maya, Blender, Unreal or similar) • Experience building and maintaining reliable cloud or hybrid systems • Ability to work independently in hybrid/remote environments and collaborate across time zones • Clear communicator bridging creative and technical perspectives Key requirements • competitive compensation • remote-friendly/hybrid work options • opportunity to influence cutting-edge AI in creative tools • work across product, research, and engineering • inclusive workplace with equal opportunity • location-flexible pay ranges and incentives
