Job Title: Actress – Housekeeper (Physical Comedy / Non-Speaking Role) Project Type: Scripted Comedy Series Role Type: Recurring / Series Regular Role Description: We are casting an actress to portray a housekeeper in an upcoming comedy series shot in a “day in the life” style. The role is non-speaking, with storytelling driven through visual performance, physical comedy, facial expressions, and reactions, accompanied by a voice-over narration (performed separately). This role relies heavily on expressive body language and natural comedic presence to convey humor without dialogue. Character Profile / Casting Requirements: Female-presenting actress Height: Below 5’5” Weight range: Approximately 130–170 lbs Appearance: Asian or Hispanic-looking (actors of Asian or Hispanic descent are strongly encouraged to apply) Age range: Open (must convincingly portray an adult housekeeper character) Performance Requirements: Strong physical comedy and expressive non-verbal acting skills Ability to communicate emotion, humor, and story without dialogue Comfortable being on camera for extended observational scenes Good comedic instincts and timing Professional, punctual, and collaborative on set Acting experience preferred (physical comedy, improv, or visual storytelling a plus) Production Notes: Filming style: Observational / slice-of-life Dialogue: None (voice-over only) Filming location: Ottawa/Gatineau Compensation: Paid $20/h Submission Instructions: Please submit a headshot, resume, and (if available) a reel or clip demonstrating physical or non-verbal performance.
