About the Role
You will assist in planning, shooting and editing video content for both our internal marketing and external client projects. This includes short‑form content (e.g. social media, reels) and corporate videos (e.g. interviews, product/ service explainers, events), as well as still photography when required.
This is suitable for students in digital media, film, or related diplomas who want strong, hands‑on production experience across different types of clients and briefs.
Key Responsibilities
Short‑Form Video
Plan and shoot short‑form videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit vertical/ horizontal cuts, add captions, simple transitions and appropriate music.
- Re‑purpose longer videos into shorter clips and social‑friendly formats.
Corporate & Long‑Form Video
- Assist in the end‑to‑end production of corporate videos: interviews, talking‑heads, product / service explainers, case studies and event highlights.
- Support pre‑production: basic scripting, shot lists, schedules and logistics.
- Set up and operate cameras, microphones and basic lighting on shoot days.
- Edit footage with clean cuts, basic colour and audio adjustments, and simple graphics where needed.
Photography & Assets
- Capture photos for events, products, team / corporate portraits and behind‑the‑scenes content.
- Perform basic photo editing and retouching for use on websites, social media and marketing materials.
- Organise and back up raw footage, photos and project files; maintain a clear folder structure.
Collaboration & Client Exposure
- Work with the design and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency with each brand.
- Occasionally support on‑site shoots at client locations (if applicable).
- Attend internal / client review sessions (where appropriate) to understand feedback and expectations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a diploma in Digital Media, Filmmaking, Media Production, Visual Communication or related field.
- Basic to intermediate skills in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with DSLR / mirrorless cameras, audio recording (lapel/shotgun mics) and simple lighting setups.
- Understanding of framing, composition and basic visual storytelling.
- Able to handle on‑site shoots and basic production logistics (carrying equipment, setup/ teardown).
- Responsible, organised and attentive to detail in both shooting and editing.
- Showreel or samples of video/ photo work are required–link or files.
Nice‑to‑Have (Optional)
- Experience creating content specifically for TikTok / Reels / YouTube .
- Basic motion graphics skills (e.g. Adobe After Effects, Canva animations).
- Ownership of personal gear (camera / lenses etc.)
