Senior Videographer / Editor

Full-time, Onsite – Passion Studio, Liverpool

Purpose

Lead the highest standard of video production se the creative bar. Introduce new techniques, workflows, and discipline. Strengthen the agency’s visual direction and output across all clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct shoots across branded content, adverts, social content, and documentary-style pieces.
• Manage full end-to-end production: pre-production, lighting design, audio, camera operation, and final delivery.
• Lead editing and set the benchmark for the team’s output.
• Build efficient project workflows that improve consistency, speed, and quality.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level videographers in lighting, framing, colour, sound, and storytelling.
• Work closely with producers, social, paid media, and design teams to deliver cohesive creative.
• Introduce new ideas, formats, transitions, and storytelling approaches that elevate client results.
• Maintain equipment, create standardised setups, and recommend sensible upgrades.
• Oversee high-level colour workflows (S-Log3, FX3/A7S3 pipelines, LUT development).
• Ensure all client work meets Passion’s quality standards without delays or unnecessary complications.

Required Experience

• Senior-level shooter/editor within an agency or commercial content environment.
• Strong grasp of lighting craft, not just technical camera knowledge.
• Confident directing talent, clients, and crew on location.
• Expert in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve, plus good After Effects ability for motion elements.
• Proven track record producing polished commercial and social-first content.
• Ability to mentor, critique, and support the development of others.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
• FPV or advanced gimbal experience.
• Ability to ideate social-first formats and concepts.
• Experience building internal production processes or SOPs.
