Capture photos and video footage of University Unions programs, services, and events (mostly E+E), with an emphasis on storytelling and student engagement.Edit photos and videos for use in social media, web, and promotional materials while maintaining consistent brand standards.Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute visual content aligned with communications goals.Assist in archiving, organizing, and maintaining digital assets for future use.Create highlight reels, short-form videos, and promotional content for social media and web platforms.Provide input on creative direction for campaigns and event coverage.Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions.Other duties as assigned that support the University Unions communications and marketing goals.Preferred QualificationsProficient in photography and videography, including composition, lighting, and post-production.Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for visual storytelling.Creative thinker with a strong sense of visual design and attention to detail.Self-starter who can work independently and manage projects from concept to completion.Organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable to a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends as most events occur outside of traditional working hours.Highly collaborative and open to feedback.Attends regularly scheduled team meetings and training sessions.Has an extensive knowledge of student life at UT.In addition to the requirements for the position, you must meet the following to be considered for all positions in the University Unions:Be a current student at The University of Texas at AustinBe registered for at least six (6) credit hours.Upon applying, please submit the following additional information in PDF format: (MYnameresume.PDF, MyNameAdditional_Info.PDF)Date available to begin work and number of hours available to work per weekReferences or previous supervisor contact infoOther current on campus employmentYour anticipated graduation dateNumber of registered class hours and a screenshot of most current class scheduleYour EIDIn addition to the application packet, please submit a resume with all co-curricular involvement and work experience along with writing samples, photography and/or graphic design samples; and responses to the following questions:Resume including all co-curricular involvement and work experiencePhotography and/or video samples or portfolio linksResponses to the following questions:What photography and/or video experience do you have?
