TYPICAL WORK DAY: Actors interact with customers in character, wardrobe, and makeup helping them to escape the room. There is a large focus on the customer experience through acting out the story of each escape, giving clues, ensuring the safety of customers and room equipment, and resetting the game. Generally, work consists of 10-20 hours a week, depending on the season and your availability. Actors are on call to take acting shifts/gigs when there are bookings. Actors are contracted.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be generally available 3 days a week including Saturday. Must be able to work late even on weekdays. Must live within a 30-minute drive or less of Orem. Must have reliable transportation.

Pay is calculated with tips in mind; many of our actors can earn above $16 an hour through tips, with many actors consistently earning upwards of $20 an hour after the initial training period.

An interview is only possible for those who send in acting footage with their resume. If you do not have professional acting footage or a demo reel you can record yourself on your phone. Footage should be generally 1 minute and is preferably a monologue. We need to simply be able to hear and see you clearly. We don’t need to see others in your footage who are not applying.
• Given that we are open Mon. – Thurs. from 5:30 PM – 11:15 PM, Fridays from 3:30 PM – 12:10 AM, and Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 12:40 AM , do you have at minimum 3 days with available time during our hours operation with at least one of those days being a weekend?
