Salary: Ksh 50,000 gross

Graphic Designer & Video Editor – Nakuru, Kenya

Our client is a Christ-centered, donor-funded non-profit dedicated to transforming lives through education, health, and sustainable development programs are seeking a creative and mission-driven Video Editor & Graphic Artist. Their role would be to produce engaging visual content—including videos, graphics, and motion design—that communicates the company’s impact, inspires generosity, and reflects the organization’s Christian values.

Duties

1. Capture, edit, and produce compelling videos of program activities, testimonies, and donor impact
2. Design graphics for social media, reports, infographics, and presentations in line with company’s brand
3. Develop motion graphics and simple animations to enhance storytelling
4. Optimize content for multiple platforms while ensuring accessibility and cultural sensitivity
5. Collaborate with program teams to translate data and reports into visual stories
6. Support donor proposals, live events, and photography as needed
7. Maintain an organized library of project files and digital assets
8. Manage multiple creative projects and deliver within deadlines

Qualifications

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Film/Video Production, Multimedia Arts, or related field
2. 2–4 years’ proven experience in video editing and graphic design (NGO/non-profit experience is an advantage)
3. Strong portfolio of video and design work
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools
5. Strong storytelling, attention to detail, and creativity
6. Skills in photography, camera operation, and scripting (advantage)
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
8. Alignment with company’s Christian values and ethical storytelling principles
