What about us?

We’re Dragons, a global creative agency working with bold brands to build relevance, cultural connection, and long-term impact through strategy-led creativity.

We specialize in bridging the Digital and Creative worlds through innovative creative solutions, working extensively in sectors like skincare, healthcare, fashion, lifestyle, and FMCG, amongst others.

We have international teams working from the US, UK, Barcelona, Germany and the Benelux area, and we pride ourselves on our ability to drive results for our clients through strategic thinking, creative excellence, and meticulous execution.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor who naturally speaks the language of Gen Z and truly understands what makes content resonate on social media. You have strong creative taste, a sharp visual eye, and your own creative criteria that go beyond trends.

You work fast without sacrificing quality, have a clear sense of visual storytelling for social media, and thrive in a team that values creative pushback and polish. You know how to select the right shots, build narratives that flow, and elevate a piece visually. You’re more video than motion, but can handle light animation when needed.

Responsibilities:

– Create and edit short-form vertical content for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
– Select and organize footage to craft engaging narratives with a clear point of view.
– Add motion/animation when needed to enhance storytelling.
– Bring creative input and direction of art to each piece, not just execution.

Requirements:

– +7 years of experience as a Video Editor, motion grapher or similar role.
– Have a strong video editing portfolio including social formats.
– Proficiency in Adobe Premiere + After Effects.
– Deep understanding of storytelling and editing flow. Have excellent visual taste.
– Strong musical taste and ability to choose appropriate soundtracks.
– Keen eye for design, rhythm, typography, color, and composition.
– Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
– Visual sensitivity and attention to detail.
– You’re always exploring new tools, technologies, and creative workflows.
– You’re tuned in to TikTok/IG trends and know how to translate them into engaging content. You understand current visual trends, memes, humor, and what works with Gen Z.
– You can easily switch between different brands and quickly adapt to each visual style.

Bonus Points (Not required, but definitely a plus):

– You’re also a filmmaker and enjoy shooting, not just editing.
– You’re experimenting with AI in your creative process.
– You bring strong visual references and inspiration to the table.
– You’re a team player who communicates well and enjoys collaborating.

Languages:

– Spanish (highly recommended)
– English (mandatory)
– Any other language is a plus.

What we offer:

– A supportive and creative environment where your ideas are valued
– Monthly afterworks with different themes (creative talks, music, café sessions, etc.)
– An inclusive team that celebrates diversity and individuality
– A Mac-based setup to make your workflow smooth and efficient
– Flexible collaboration depending on the project and your availability
– Flat hierarchy with open communication
– Friendly, young, and dynamic team
– Family-friendly company culture
– One big team-building event per year to connect, have fun, and recharge

At Dragons Group, we are dedicated to creating a workplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and strive to build an environment where every individual feels empowered and respected.
